Family brought us to fitness
We are Alfredo and Marie Macedo, parents of three active, competitive athletic teens. We realized each of our kids could benefit from training outside of regular school programs to improve their strength and endurance. Several years ago we found CrossFit Affiliate Training Coach Cody Limbaugh, and our lives were changed forever. As the kids began to love their workouts, we decided we’d join the fun and work on our own fitness improvements. We started regular workouts with Cody and the kids, and results were fast and amazing. We felt better, aches and pains disappeared and we are loving the way we feel .
We were so impressed with our experience, we formed a partnership with Cody and launched InSync Center for Fitness and CrossFit Excellence. Now our family often trains together, encouraging each other, spotting each other and having fun. We consider the time spent exercising as a family is precious and productive for all of us.
A belief in the power of a fitness community
The opportunity to join a group of positive, enthusiastic workout buddies is the core of our program. Whether family or friends, camaraderie can be the secret sauce of long-term fitness success. So many large gyms offer everything except that magic of forming lasting friendships with others. Couples work out separately, seniors go it alone, young parents squeeze brief gym visits into busy days. We learned there is a different way to help people find a better, more personal fitness journey. Our facility is big enough for our classes, and small enough to meet new friends.
Something for the independent athlete
In the spirit of “respecting the bodies we are trying to heal,” our vision is to help people live stronger, healthier lives for all of their days, both mentally and physically. If you prefer an intensive, regular personal training approach to group offerings, we offer opportunities all day to work one-on-one with our outstanding, CrossFit Certified Trainers. Meet Cody, Chris and Kendra.
Is InSync about weight loss?
When you improve your ability to fluidly perform functional movements through a vigorous fitness regimen, weight loss normally follows if you are sticking to the right nutrition plan.
You may find you are becoming increasingly motivated to watch your diet more carefully. If you need to lose some weight, and stick to your fitness programs, excess pounds may disappear as your body adjusts to its new normal.
“Our goal is to help your unleash your potential to be active and pain free as your body ages. We believe in your ability to work hard and give yourself the gift of health and strength.” – A. Macedo
