CrossFit Certified Trainer
A Portland, Oregon native, Kendra enrolled in a women’s strength training program in college and learned the concept of general physical preparedness. Transitioning to a garage gym with her first Crossfit trainer, she discovered her love of metabolic conditioning and lifting heavy things.
Kendra has a broad variety of coaching experience. She helped coordinate the Working Wounded Games, a CrossFit-style competition designed for athletes with adaptive needs. She wrote the Adaptive Coaches seminar that the nonprofit Crossroads Adaptive Athletic Alliance is teaching worldwide.
She is a competitive athlete, and a member of Team Some Assembly Required, an all-adaptive competition team based in Columbus, OH. She participates in throwdowns from coast to coast.
When coaching, Kendra celebrates every victory, every improvement over yesterday, and every fun moment.
With my extensive background in adaptive athletics, I especially love working with folks who have ongoing mobility dilemmas and adaptive needs. From stabilizing and strengthening chronic joint and range of motion issues to adapting workouts due to temporary or permanent injury, I am a problem-solver. I believe in an all-inclusive community, and I look forward to welcoming you!
